India has the largest adolescent population in the world, around 260 million. The key challenges to unlocking adolescents’ potential are socioeconomic barriers to completing formal education and inadequate skills to gainfully transition out of school. Unlocking adolescents’ full potential can break intergenerational poverty and inequality and enable India to reap the benefits of this demographic dividend.
LEAP is designed to provide holistic long-term development for adolescent students and expand their potential to gainfully transition out of school. LEAP focuses on students from government and government-aided schools in urban and peri-urban communities.
