Healthcare has been facilitated through mobile medical services for India’s rural population with fully equipped and staffed vans. Over 30,000 individuals from marginalized communities in rural and semi-urban areas of Kaithal, Manesar district, and nearby regions of Gurugram have received assistance and support. Additionally, regular eye checkups are conducted as part of ongoing efforts to address the broader health needs of the population.
The Anganwadi system provides calcium tablets, eggs, protein supplements, and menstrual hygiene products. Capacity-building sessions have supported over 80 women, while more than 70 pregnant or lactating mothers and malnourished children receive nutritional support. Educational workshops on menstrual hygiene and health have empowered women. Community Clinics have also been set up where a nurse and doctor offer daily health services, including check-ups and medical supplies, benefiting over 900 community members. The clinic promotes menstrual hygiene and has incinerators for sanitary product disposal. The Nutritional Security Program (NSP) provides dairy-based nutritional support to over 500 children under 10 through regular milk supply, partnering with local dairies and brands.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, essential health amenities were supplied to the underprivileged, including distributing over 50 oxygen concentrators and more than 50,000 PPE kits and masks to those in need. Additionally, nutritional support was provided through meals, medicines, and safety kits to various communities to protect against the virus.
